Saturday Dec 13th- 12pm- 3pm-
“Finding the Free Leg, Using the Free Leg”
Progressive work for dancers with some experience. We will be exploring the connection to the followers free leg, doing exercises to begin to feel this connection , and further exploring some of the ways to play with some movements with the free leg in the dance. (Think along the lines of swooshy adornments, low boleos)
Sunday Dec 14th- 12p- 3pm-
“Increasing Sensitivity, Deepening Connection".
Continuing the powerful work for dancers with some experience. (A follow up class from the Oct 12th class)
We will guide you through many exercises, working with the fundamental movements, practice with modified embraces, fun and unique props, slow movement and deep focus on balance, axis awareness, and connection with your partner, to give you the tools needed to increase sensitivity and move toward becoming better leaders and followers.
We got great feedback form the dancers who attended the first session of this class!

Born and brought up in Buenos Aires Tomas brings and shares his 12 years of teaching and performing experience in Argentina, North America and Europe. Through his understanding and dedication Tomas creates a bridge linking traditional tango with the newer tendencies.
Tomas dances and teaches authentic Argentine Tango. He had the privilege to study and assist some of the greatest teachers of all time: Pepe Avellaneda, Pupy Castello, Jose Brahemcha, Gustavo Naveira, Graciela Gonzalez. His knowledge and pedagogy are unique and exceptional. Tomas believes in a natural, relaxed, comfortable, thoughtful and skillful tango; one that is unique for each person. Tomas is appreciated for his sharp eye, gentle humor, and accessibility.
The Regional weekend is a gathering of dancers from all around the SE region and beyond, including classes, evening social dances and our fabulous Sunday Brunch and practica ! The classes will range from all level classes ( good work for all level dancers), to more intermediate classes and this year- NEW- a special upper level class for advanced dancers on Sunday before the brunch. Reasonable rates on full event package with early registration.
